Ashlee Simpson, little sister to gorgeous-on-paper but pretty dull 'singer' and 'actress' Jessica Simpson, was once the perfect antidote to Jessica's polished-to-perfection image. Both Ashlee's vocal and facial 'flaws' merely added to her appeal, which was more raw and rough-around-the-edges than Jessica's, and her nose gave her face character that is lacking in many of todays carbon-copy starlets. It takes a lot of character to carry of a big nose: kudos to Chloe Sevigny, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Blake Lively, Sarah Jessica Parker and Claire Danes.
Then sadly, Ashlee got her nose 'fixed'. Probably a 'deviated septum':
Don't get me wrong, Ashlee is still gorgeous, maybe technically more so, but not in that uniquely pretty way that makes you look twice; she's lost that sparkle in her eyes, that special something, and now she kinda just looks like everyone else. So, I miss Ashlee Simpson's nose...
