Exciting news!

I know, I know-I promised no mention of John or Jim but I'm a rebel, man. Give me a rule and I'll find a way to break it. Also, this is too good not to share: The latest news from Hollywood is that the writer's strike is all but over which means we could still get up to 6 new episodes of the Office before the season ends! I'm almost as excited as these guys:

Hi, sorry I have been so slack but I am finally meeting my challenge of connecting Britney to Jim Halpert or John Krasinski, for I am a woman true to my word.

While we are all aware of Britney's sad downward spiral, I wanted to take a moment and focus on the beautiful girl she was and still is, with these stunning and simple photos taken several years ago...










And while Britney been on a downhill slide since her days of glory, some stars just get better with time, for instance John Krasinski, who went from this:

...John is not pretty. And he is the most style un-friendly, fashion backwards dude you can find. But John Krasinski didn’t care about his hair. Love, love, love. We made eye contact twice. I want to say ten seconds but it was more like three....several fans asked to have their picture taken… he obliged every time. With a smile and that arm around the waist. Sigh."

Although, I must disagree with the "John is not pretty" statement, and here is some evidence to back me up:

Mandy Moore!

Chocololate-box gorgeous 23-year-old singer and actress Mandy Moore has been entertaining audiences since her early teens when she was marketed as a Britney-Jessica-Christina clone. Mandy has a good head on her shoulders and a tight grasp on reality. Case in point: when Mandy decide to rebel against her overly manufactured pop-image, what did she do? Bump-and-grind half-nude and call it empowerment? Expose her marriage and idiocy for all to see on prime-time tv? Marry a drop-kick and pop out some babies before forming a drug-addiction and having a complete mental breakdown? Nope; she cut her hair short and dyed it brown. She likes funny, Jewish guys and tends to go for men who are more mature-her exes include actor/writer/director Zach Braff and DJ A.M. But with the bad luck she's had in her love life, maybe it's time to mix it up a bit.

So, let's meet the eligible bachelor's...

Bachelor #1
Adam Brody

Cute, funny Adam dated 'the O.C.' co-star Rachel Bilson for several years, so we know he's capable of maintaining a long-term relationship. But, I don't know if he's funny. Or Jewish. Although, Seth Cohen was- Chrismukkah anyone? While he is 28, Adam seems a lot younger and may be a little immature for Mandy's tastes. Also, he tends to favour shorter girls-Adam is 5'11", ex Rachel Bilson is a petite 5'1", and Mandy is a statuesque 5'8"

Seth Rogen

Although he's only 25, Seth seems much older, and while he may not look like the 'perfect' guy for Mandy, we've seen he can make a mismatch work in his onscreen pairing with another statuesque beauty: Katherine Heigl, in the hilarious 'Knocked Up'. Seth is Jewish and definitely funny, though his often crass humour might be a bit much for seemingly sweet Mandy to take.

Bachelor #3

John Krasinski

28-year-old, 6'3" tall, and funny John has already been engaged to Mandy in 'Licence to Wed', so it could be argued that if they didn't hit it off in that situation there's no spark between this lovely two-some. John's hobbies include flirting with Pam the receptionist and pulling pranks on Dwight...oh wait, thats Jim.

Bachelor #2 Seth Rogen!

While Seth is the youngest of the three, he seems a lot older than his years; he is funny, Jewish, and down-to-earth which is a good match for Mandy's easy-going, nightlife shunning lifestyle. Seth may be not as typically attractive as John or Adam, but Mandy has stated and proven that looks aren't a factor for her. While not as tall as John, Seth is a perfectly respectable 5'11, a good 3 inches taller than Mandy (in flats). He's sweet, goofy and cuddly-perfect for Mandy to snuggle up with on her much loved nights at home. And although Seth's a little rough-around-the-edges, he might be just what Mandy needs to help her loosen up and lose some of her sugary-sweetness.

After my last post, I feel like posting something frivolous, so here is just a bit of random yumminess for all you straight/bi ladies and gay/bi men...enjoy....

JAM envy

Ok, so I'm a huge Office fan. To be specific, I'm a huge Jim and Pam (JAM) fan. To get even more specific, I am totally head-over-heels crazy-in-love with Jim Halpert! I mean, I know he is a fictional television character, but he is more three-dimensional, lovably flawed and human than some actual humans beings i know! What woman wouldn't love their very own Jim Halpert? Everytime he looks at Pam with those big, longing eyes I melt into a puddle. I hate Pam because Jim loves Pam, but I love Pam for showing that guys like Jim long for girls like Pam, insecure and quiet and sweet and plain. I mean, who of us hasn't wanted someone they thought they couldn't have. Jim and Pam give me hope. Hope that the Jim's of the world notice us Pam's, and secretly want to be with us as much as we want to be with them.
